Historic Hudson 3rd Street Walking Tour

Join the Historical Society for a guided walking tour of Hudson’s historic Third Street on Sunday, August 8 at 11 am. Learn about the movers and shakers that helped build Hudson (and Wisconsin) into what it is today!

This tour last approximately 1 hour on uneven terrain with no places to sit along the tour. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

Due to current guidelines, space is limited to allow for social distancing spacing.

Octagon House Museum

The St. Croix County Historical Society maintains the Octagon House Museum complex, which is open for guided tours May through October & December. In addition to the gracious eight-sided house with Victorian era furnishings, the complex includes the Garden House with its 19th century life, domestic arts, carpenter, blacksmith, and general store tableaux; and the Carriage House, which includes the Museum Gift Shop and research center. All structures are set amid expansive, beautifully maintained gardens.
