Octagon House Museum Opens for Hot Air Affair

The Octagon House Museum will be open for the annual Hudson Hot Air Affair on Saturday, February 6 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Come shop and see the Octagon House where local vendors will greet you in the parlor, library, dining room, kitchen and Carriage House.  $5 suggested donation for admittance. 

Also offering 2 self-guided walking tours—Historic Hudson Revisited and historic buildings in the Downtown.  Maps and booklets available at the Octagon House.  $1 each suggested donation.

Octagon House Museum

The St. Croix County Historical Society maintains the Octagon House Museum complex, which is open for guided tours May through October & December. In addition to the gracious eight-sided house with Victorian era furnishings, the complex includes the Garden House with its 19th century life, domestic arts, carpenter, blacksmith, and general store tableaux; and the Carriage House, which includes the Museum Gift Shop and research center. All structures are set amid expansive, beautifully maintained gardens.
