Octagon House Museum Opens for Hot Air Affair

The Octagon House Museum will be open for the annual Hudson Hot Air Affair on Saturday, February 5 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Regular museum tours begin on the hour from 1-3 pm. Learn about the Octagon House, the Moffat-Hughes Family, and Hudson History. Tickets available on Eventbrite.

If the 3pm balloon launch is cancelled, the museum will offer an additional 4 pm walk-in tour.

Guinn, Vinopal & Zahradka, LLP Accountants continues as the Hot Air Affair sponsor for this special opening of the museum.

Self-guided walking tours of Hudson brochures will also be available on Octagon House Museum front porch for $1 each suggested donation.



Octagon House Museum

The St. Croix County Historical Society maintains the Octagon House Museum complex, which is open for guided tours May through October & December. In addition to the gracious eight-sided house with Victorian era furnishings, the complex includes the Garden House with its 19th century life, domestic arts, carpenter, blacksmith, and general store tableaux; and the Carriage House, which includes the Museum Gift Shop and research center. All structures are set amid expansive, beautifully maintained gardens.
